This course will prepare you for specialised work, such as traditional hand cut roofs, and also provide you with an insight into site management. In practical sessions you will work through projects to develop your hands-on skills, with all tasks set by the awarding body. The theory sessions will provide you with the underpinning knowledge of the construction industry needed to apply your skills on site.

- Complex structural work
- Dormer windows
- Double doors
- Raked and curved mouldings
- Principles of organising
- Planning and pricing construction work

Requirements
You will need to have achieved at least a grade 4 in English and maths. You will also be required to attend an interview before being accepted onto the course.
Assessment
Assessed using a range of practical and theory training assessments, online multiple choice exams and a practical synoptic assessment.
Progression
You have the opportunity to progress on to Site Carpentry Level 3.
