East Coast College is ideally located close to the Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth town centres, with transports links from surrounding towns and villages.
We’ve created these handy bus travel maps to show you all the routes which lead to the East Coast College Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth campuses to make getting to college easy for you.

Travel by Bus
The main bus company that operates in the surrounding area is the First Group.
You may like to approach the bus/coach service that travels near to where you live to find out more.
A range of tariffs and tickets are available including the Student Savers which can be purchased per term or per academic year.
Local Authority Post 16 Discretionary Transport Schemes
Both Suffolk and Norfolk County Council offer post 16 transport schemes. This could offer a subsidised travel solution or provision for eligible students living over 3 miles from college.

Students should be mindful that although subsidised travel could be offered to them on public transport routes it may be a more cost-effective to pay for this direct to the provider.
Travel by Train

Network Rail offer the 16-17, 16-25 and 26-30 Saver discount cards, at a cost of £30, which could give a 50% discount on off-peak rail fares.

Travel by Bicycle, Motorbike, Moped and Car
We have bike racks available on campus and also parking on-site for cars and motorcycles on a first-come first-served basis.
Students should be mindful and considerate of parking restrictions in the surrounding residential area.
