This course will suit anyone who is committed and passionate about exploring visual ideas and brand communication across a variety of platforms. You will be challenged to engage with real-world problems and commercial briefs through research, design and a variety of technologies.
The industry-based projects explore visual communication and are supported by a variety of workshops in compositing, graphic design, motion graphics, concept art, illustration and typography. This course will prepare you for an exciting and challenging job in the creative and digital skills industries.

Requirements
You will need to have at least two GCSEs at grade 3 or above and a sketchbook or portfolio of artwork which could be photography, art and/or design to bring to your interview.
Additionally, a commitment to work towards gaining functional skills or a GCSE in maths and English during the course if you have not achieved this.
Assessment
The course consists of 9 units which are assessed on the work you generate throughout the year in set projects.
Progression
You can progress to Digital Design Level 3.
