Course: Progression to Hospitality

This course is vocational specific and supports development of transferrable skills and confidence in moving into the hospitality and catering area as a progression route.
You will cover areas such as food preparation, basic cooking, customer service in the hospitality industry, food hygiene and safety, planning a healthy diet, exploring and presenting enterprise ideas and an introduction to hospitality industry.
You will work in a professional kitchen, carry out fundraising, help run a café style provision and undertake key subject specific enterprise projects.
You can progress within Foundation and Progression, the wider college provision or go into employment.
