A career in the uniformed public services can be physically, mentally and emotionally tough, but for the many thousands of people working in this sector, the challenges are definitely worth it. There are literally hundreds of different careers within the uniformed services and they aren’t just roles in the military, but also include the police force, ambulance service and fire service.
All courses blend practical work such as fitness, map reading, adventurous activities and theory work including looking at the roles of the uniformed public services.
These courses will provide you with an insight into the uniformed services as a potential area for employment. It aims to inform and prepare you to enter employment as a potential recruit for a variety of uniformed services such as the Army, Royal Navy, Royal Air Force, Prison Service, Fire and Rescue Service and Police Service.
