Do you want to develop your hairdressing skills and work with different clients to create that perfect hair style? From our superb campus salons – Visions and Images – you will learn all of the techniques you will need to start a career in the industry.
Modules you may study include:
- Cutting hair
- Colouring and lighting
- Styling and finishing
- Treating hair and scalp
- Reception duties
- Creative cutting and colouring
- Client consulations
- Hair perming
We have great relationships with many salon owners and other related businesses in the industry and can help you find work experience opportunities locally. This could be in a small salon or a larger business to gain real life experience and prepare you for the world of work after college.

Requirements
You will need to have completed Hairdressing Level 2 NVQ and have worked in a salon – either employed or as work experience.
Progression
You can progress into employment as a hairdresser or stylist or on to a Level 4 in Salon Management.
