The AAT Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping is perfect for bookkeeping beginners to gain the skills and essential knowledge needed for completing the manual bookkeeping activities that underpin all accountancy and finance roles.

You will develop practical accountancy skills in the double-entry bookkeeping system and in using associated documents and processes. You will cover transactions for accuracy, make entries in appropriate books and ledgers and calculate sales invoices and credit notes.

This could lead to a career as a trainee bookkeeper, accounts administrator, finance assistant.

This course is part time for 7.5 hours a week. It will be delivered onsite on Fridays from 1pm to 5pm, and through online sessions on Tuesday from 6pm to 8pm and Thursdays from 6pm to 7.30pm.

The fee of £185 includes a one-off registration fee of £65, paid directly to AAT. This registration fee will give you access to the qualification for its lifetime, typically four to five years, and access to the study support resources, and enable you to sit the qualification assessments. It also includes two unit assessments, both priced at £60.
