Course Overview
Door Supervisors are licensed security professionals responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment in venues such as bars, clubs, events, and licensed premises. This intensive course equips you with the skills and certifications to work as a Door Supervisor and CCTV Operator, boosting your employability and career prospects in the security industry and includes:
- Level 1 Certificate in Employability
- Level 2 Award for CCTV Operators in the Private Security Industry
- Level 2 Award for Door Supervisors in the Private Security Industry
- Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Mental Health First Aid Advocacy in the Workplace
- Level 2 Award in Substance Misuse
Attendance is mandatory on all elements to complete the course.

Eligibility:
To be eligible for this course you must:
- Be over 19 years old as of 31st August 2025 (born before 31st August 2006)
- Not have an unspent criminal conviction
- Not currently hold an SIA licence
- Have lived in the UK for the past 3 years
- Be able to meet the criteria to apply for an SIA Licence – https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-sia-licence
Course Cost
This course is fully funded if you fall under one of the following categories:
- Low income – Earning under £25,750 annually before tax (£2,083.30 monthly / £495.19 weekly)
- UC – On universal credit and taking home £952 (single) or £1534 (joint)
- Unemployed and seeking employment
- Receiving ESA/JSA

Requirements
Consideration of passing security checks linked to the sector expectations.
Assessment
You will be required to undertake practical assessments and multiple choice exams
Progression
You can progress to an adult bootcamp or related employment with training.
