This course will be delivered at Lowestoft Sixth Form College, based on the East Coast College Lowestoft campus.

Are you interested in the world of business and want to progress towards a managerial or administrative role? Our T Level in Business Support will provide you with real-world experience as well as the knowledge and skills needed to work in the world of management.

You will explore business context, looking at organisational cultures and values, different types of internal and external stakeholders, different forms of governance and the impact of organisations on society and the environment. You will also develop skills in project and change management, using theories and models to support and improve your projects, and business behaviours including the importance of good communication and adapting styles to professional standards, purpose and audience. You will delve into quality and compliance, developing an understanding of the importance of maintaining and improving quality in all aspects of public and private sector organisations.

Then you will be able to put everything you learn into practice, with a substantial industry placement for a minimum of 315 hours. This will give you an amazing opportunity to work with a local or national business employer while you study, and gain invaluable experience as well as key skills that employers are looking for.

Requirements

You will need to have achieved two grade 5s and three grade 4s at GCSE including at least a grade 4 in English language and maths. 

Progression

Following a T Level, you could progress straight into a skilled profession or continue your studies with a degree or higher apprenticeship.
