Art, Design and Photgraphy courses can lead to a broad range of career opportunities. Today a career in art doesn’t just mean being an artist, it can also include roles which range from graphic designer, set designer, titles creator, games development and website design to name just a few.

Level 1 – Explore your creativity. This course will focus on developing vocational technical skills alongside English, Maths and personal skills. You will explore a broad range of art and design topics including drawing, painting, computer aided design, graphic design, photography and printmaking.

Level 2 – Develop and explore your creativity. Ideal if you are interested in the practical nature of art and design and want a hands-on course which can help you progress to a higher level. You will take part in classroom sessions to help build your general knowledge of a range of skills and techniques in creative arts and maths and English.

Level 3 – Focus your creativity. This course is designed for students who wish to specialise in fine art, graphic design and/or photography. The course is exciting and challenging and designed to provide for the many career and higher education opportunities that exist within art, graphic design and photography.

If you are aged 16-19 and have not achieved GCSE grade A*-C in English and maths, any programme you choose will require you to continue studying English and maths.
