Thank you for your interest in the College open evening on 11th December 2019. We look forward to welcoming you to our Lowestoft campus for our event for the Engineering curriculum.

The format of the evening will be to give you a guided tour around the excellent facilities at the College in the brand new, state of the art, Energy Skills Centre where you can see the considerable investment the college has made into technology and learning space.

You will have the opportunity to meet our Managers who can give you an insight about working in the college community.

Whether you are interested in Lecturing or Assessing on a full-time, part-time or casual basis we would welcome the time to discuss opportunities to be a dual professional as well as the support college can offer.  

Training and progression

If you are brand new to education, that’s no problem, we provide excellent training opportunities in teaching and assessing and will guide you through to gain your qualification.

You should have relevant, up-to-date industry experience, along with a Level 2 qualification (or equivalent – GCSE C) in Maths and English.

Benefits of working for us

Lecturers can take home a salary of up to £33,947 per annum as well a host of benefits including term-time working (50 days holiday, plus bank hols, per year for a full time teacher), generous pension scheme and more (click here for full list of our benefits). Working arrangements vary from casual as and when contracts to full time 37 hours per week.
