Prerequisites

Requirements
Candidates are required to have the sufficient knowledge, skills and experience to undertake the training and assessment and will have the following:
1) National Diploma in a relevant engineering subject or equivalent
2) The ability to understand, interpret and apply technical content
3) Employer letter of sponsorship
This course is NOT a “practitioners” course and is therefore not normally suitable for technicians unless they are planning to transition into a management role. The course is aimed at persons in a senior supervisory/ responsible role, i.e. those persons directly responsible for the management of staff, processes and procedures relating to explosive atmosphere, in particular E,C&I equipment, protective systems and installations.

Successful candidates will receive a JTL CompEx EX14 Responsible Person Certificate.
Candidates not meeting the criteria will be awarded a college certificate of attendance.
