East Coast College is celebrating a remarkable achievement after four of its students reached the prestigious WorldSkills UK National Finals in Wales, an event that brings together the top young professionals from across the country, with only eight finalists selected in each category.
Against exceptional national competition, East Coast College secured gold, silver and bronze medals, making it the highest-placed college in the East of England and earning an impressive 5th place overall in the national medals table.
The medal winners and finalists are:
- Emma Fisher – Gold Medal in SFX Makeup and Hair for Film & TV
- Mary O’Brien – Silver Medal in SFX Makeup and Hair for Film & TV
- Jacob Myhill – Bronze Medal in Metal Fabricator
- Ella Hutchinson – Finalist in Beauty Therapist
