Level 3 Extended Diploma in Travel and Tourism (Two years, full-time)
Year one and two units may include:

- Marketing in Travel and Tourism
- Conferences and Events
The study programme will be designed around the local and global labour market, student needs and career aspirations.
It will include offsite visits and trips, wellbeing tutorials, personal tutorials, online learning and will include an overseas residential (subject to stringent health & safety checks and current Covid-19 policy at the time of planning/booking), guest speakers, industrial placement, festival volunteering and real-working environments.
Five GCSE subjects at Grade 4 or above to include English. Progression to the extended diploma is only possible with the successful achievement of year one.
Full British or European passport will be required for oversea trips.
The course is assessed by a range of methods including:
– Case studies
– Role plays
– Online assessments
– Portfolio of work
Upon completion of the Diploma you may wish to continue to study for the Extended Diploma (progression interview required). Following the Extended Diploma you may decide to study for a degree. Alternatively, successful completion of both courses can also lead to a career within the travel and tourism industry.
