Launching in March 2024, this new course will support you to develop the skills and knowledge needed to carry out professional threading techniques.

You will learn threading techniques used in the industry to carry out depilation on facial areas such as the eyebrows, lip and chin. You will learn a variety of beauty therapy skills to a high level of occupational ability, to enable you to perform your own salon services.

This course will run for 12 hours a week over five weeks.

There are no entry requirements for this course.

Assessment

You will be assessed both practically and through online tests which are taken at the end of each unit. Practical assessments are performed on paying clients and must be completed in a commercially acceptable timescale. Evidence from these will go towards building a portfolio of evidence. Some other written work will be required for projects and assignments.

Progression

You could progress onto a range of other Level 2 Award courses including Shaping and Colouring Eyebrows, Wax Depilation, Make-Up and Manicure and Beauty Services.
