Our new Preparation for the Military Level 3 course will equip you with all the skills and knowledge needed to enter the uniformed public services, including roles in the Army, Navy, Royal Engineers, RAF and fire service. You will develop your academic skills alongside resilience, communication, teamwork, and industry-specific skills.
As well as gaining an insight into the qualities and physical requirements needed in the uniformed services, you will also spend time developing your skills in a variety of trades, choosing from areas to specialise in throughout your course. These will include engineering, welding, mechanics, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and brickwork.
During this Level 3 course, you will gain a Diploma in Uniformed Public Services as well as experience in your six chosen trades. These additional qualifications will prepare you for your interview and assessment for a job in the military, and will put you ahead of the competition.
It will also help you to consider and decide on what route you might like to specialise in when you get a job in the military, working with our team of experienced teachers who have backgrounds in a wide range of uniformed public services.
