You will learn new techniques, materials and processes through a range of practical lessons and tutorials. If you love photography, you will have fun exploring the history of photographic methods and processes. You will capture imagery every day. You will create a portfolio of photography work for University and work application interviews. You will have exhibitions and take part in real industry set project briefs.

The units include:

Visual language, research skills, materials, processes and technical skills, 2D and 3D photography, progression in photography.

Requirements

4 GCSE’s at Grade C / 4 or above ideally including maths and English.

Progression

This course can lead to employment in the creative industries, an apprenticeship or to an FdA or Degree in photography or a related subject locally or nationally.
