Have you ever wanted to know more about the human body and the way in which systems within the body work together to allow it to function correctly? This course introduces all of these ideas as well as more vocationally linked topics. Medical Science provides an alternative route to University to study a variety of Science or health based degree courses or serves to prepare you for the world of work in the medical industry.
This course is particularly suitable if you are interested in working in the fields of Pathology, Biomedical Science, Mental Health Nursing, Midwifery, Child & Adult nursing. Paramedic Science, Pharmaceuticals. Radiology, Dentistry, Medicine, Veterinary Science, Veterinary Nursing and Laboratory Technicians.
The Medical Science Subsidiary and Diploma can be studied alongside A Levels. Depending on the route you decide, you will study a range of topics including: Physiology of the Human Body (researching structure and function of organs and lymphatic system), Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Genetics, Biomedical Science.

Science based courses at Higher Education include chemical and biological sciences, biomedical science, radiography, food and nutrition, pharmaceutical science, nursing, midwifery, paramedic science, radiology and veterinary nursing.
