The Level 2 Performing Arts for Adults offers adults an inspiring, hands‑on introduction to the world of performance, theatre production and creative collaboration. This qualification provides a broad grounding in acting, movement, vocal work, dance and technical theatre, giving learners the chance to explore their creativity while developing practical skills that reflect real industry practice.
Throughout the course, adult learners work on projects that mirror professional rehearsal and production processes. You’ll build confidence in performance techniques and develop production skills such as planning for your performance.
This qualification is ideal for adults looking to re‑engage with education, step into the performing arts sector, or develop existing creative skills in a supportive and practical environment. With its industry‑relevant approach and strong focus on teamwork, communication and creativity, the course helps prepare learners for progression into higher‑level study or entry‑level roles in the creative industries.

*Free if under £25,000 a year or in receipt of UC/pension (3 x pay slips or evidence of 3 months of UC is required). If you are not eligible, the course fee is £180.
