Course: Hairdressing Level 2

This course has been specifically designed to develop your skills in the creative skill of dressing women’s hair, the art of creating a hair and beauty image, how to be effective when shampooing and conditioning hair and how to provide a good consultation service for your clients.

You will train in our on-site hair and beauty salon, where you will get the chance to put your knowledge and skills to the test.

Units you may study include:

• Health and safety protocols
• Client consultation and advice
• Shampooing and conditioning treatments for hair and scalp
• Hair styling techniques
• Basic hair cutting methods
• Hair colouring and lightening techniques

You will also be able to access the awarding bodies’ online learning portal and discover sustainable working practices.

This course will start in September 2026 and will run until June 2027.
