This Level 2 unit is designed for those who wish to develop an understanding of autism and how to support autistic individuals. It provides a comprehensive overview of autism, including it’s characteristics, diagnosis, and common misconceptions.
Full funding may be available as this course is being delivered to support the local community.
Requirements
There are no specific learning requirements. You will require appropriate level of literacy and willingness to complete the assessment criteria within the workshop.
Assessment
This is a knowledge-only qualification assessed through a workbook. There will be a short activity to complete prior to the delivery session.
Progression
This qualification supports progression to employment in healthcare, social care, education, and other sectors. It also enables you to advance to other related courses including a full Level 2 in Understanding Autism.
