You will also be able to take part in career development including interview and presentation skills. There will also be extensive opportunities for students to network with potential employers in the sector through a Presentation Evening and Speed Interview Event.
East Coast College has a proven reputation for preparing students for the Engineering Industry. We have around 200 Engineering Apprentices, strong links with local employers and in addition to the course described, we offer:
Three GCSEs at grade 3 or above, including: English, maths and science, plus the ability to cope with the demands of the course and an interview. The course will involve studying for several engineering related qualifications.
You will be assessed by practical assessments, internal written papers and a final online exam.
The skills and knowledge acquired on the course are valued by employers and can help learners progress on to an apprenticeship programme or further their studies at a higher level. The type of work in the Engineering industry is so varied that your future will depend on your skills, preferences and the opportunities available.
