Develop the knowledge and skills to support progression to further learning and training in counselling skills. This course is also suitable for learners who wish to develop skills to support their daily work, for example in the field of health and social care.
This course supports progression to qualifications in Counselling at a higher level.
You may study topics including:
- Applying counselling skills
- Reflective practice in Counselling
- Understanding Counselling skills
This course will take place on Tuesdays from 5pm to 7pm.
This course is free (subject to personal circumstances).
You will need to be interested in a career in Counselling and have an interest in further study in Counselling such as an Access or degree course.
You will also need a good level of spoken and written English, such as Functional Skills Level 1 or GCSE.
You can progress on to our Access to HE Diploma in Counselling.
