This course is designed to provide you with an exciting and challenging experience which will introduce you to the rigours and rewards of exploring and working within the most fundamental of creative activities.
This drawing course is an opportunity to explore and gain new skills as well as building on your existing or developing techniques. You will explore through still life and life drawing, a range of drawing materials, drawing techniques and a variety of subject matter.
You will benefit from access to print, ceramics, graphics, photographic and 3D workshops and studios and will have the chance to build a portfolio of artwork for progression to a full-time course.
Whether a beginner or intermediate, develop your use of drawing to improve observational, compositional and technical skills in mark making, visualisation and illustration with confidence.

This course will run at our Lowestoft campus on Friday afternoons from 12.30pm to 2.30pm.

Requirements
All students will need to provide a range of their own equipment, including a sketchbook and drawing materials, with a list provided at induction.
Progression
After this course you could study a full-time art and design course including the Foundation in Art and Design or the degree in Visual Art at the University of Suffolk at East Coast College.
The need for greater drawing skills in those entering employment has been identified by a range of industries in the creative sector including; animation, film, architecture, art practice, design and communication industries.
