This is a recognised qualification which gives you an opportunity to progress on to university courses or into employment.
You will need 5 GCSE’s at C (4/5) grade and above, including Maths and English.
Students will need to complete an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Certificate (DBS) Application, this is an active Criminal Record check to ensure suitability of working with Vulnerable People . This is completed after enrolment on the course and will be discussed further at interview.

Progression to employment, apprenticeship, higher level apprenticeship or Higher Education.
Degree subjects include (but are not limited to) Social Work, Nursing, Child Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Learning Disability Nursing, Midwifery, Paramedic Science, Operating Department Practice, Occupational Therapy, Radiography, Youth Work, Special Educational Needs, Speech and Language or other degree’s/FdA’s such as Health Studies, Nutrition, Public Health, Psychology, Sociology, Social Sciences, Social Care Practice, Children’s Health Play and Wellbeing
