Using a range of practical and theoretical teaching methods, your skills will be developed in our extensive workshop area which simulates a construction site environment. In the classroom you will study health and safety, building methods and construction technology. In the workshop, you will learn how to set out, make and finish a variety of joinery products such as doors, frames, units, windows and stairs.

When you join the course you will undertake an initial assessment, this will allow an individual learning plan to be created which will highlight your strengths and details any areas of need.

The course is broken down into units focusing on specific areas which are then assessed. This will allow us to check your progress before the next module begins.

We have:

  • Experienced and professional tutors

You will need to have completed Bench Joinery Level 2  in order to progress to Level 3.
