This qualification is designed to act as an introduction and enable learners to develop the knowledge and understanding required to work with customers within the health and social care sector.
The objectives of this qualification are to help learners:
- Develop an awareness of customer service in health and social care.
- Understand the needs of customers who access health and social care services.
You will learn in our practical skills suite where you will provide physical care and will receive excellent careers guidance and further study opportunities.
This course is available from June 7th and will run on Tuesday evenings from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
This course can be accessed for free, subject to certain criteria available on request. For those not eligible, the course fee is £150.
Requirements
Level 1 or equivalent work experience and an ability to speak and write in English to a good standard.
Assessment
There are no exams. You will be assessed on a portfolio of projects.
Progression
This qualification can lead to careers as assistants in health and social care. You could also join an Access to Higher Education course and train to work in
