The inclusion approach to this Access diploma will examine how current issues have changed society’s perception of inclusion and exclusion and the consequence of those changes in an ever-changing employment landscape. It will help better prepare students for the contemporary issues that will impact on a range of social care career options, with inclusion, equality, diversity, and rights the underpinning tenets of the programme.
The course is delivered through units as discrete subject disciplines; however, case studies, examples and research will be used to illustrate the interdisciplinary benefits of social care and inclusion in terms of both practice and theory.

You can progress on to Social Science degree courses such as BA (Hons) Social Science, BSc (Hons) Applied Psychology, BA (Hons) Cultural Studies through the University of Suffolk at East Coast College or other universities.
