Adam Philpott


After completing the BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Performing Arts, Adam went on to study BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre at the prestigious Arts Educational Drama School in London.

Adam went on to work on UK tours of ‘Oklahoma’ and ‘Seven Brides for Seven Brothers’ and the European Premiere of ‘White Christmas’. He has since gone on to perform in the West End in ‘Dirty Dancing’ and most recently directed shows at the Tabard Theatre in London and as associate/ assistant director for the world premiere of ‘Gods and Monsters’ at The Southwark Playhouse. He is also a regular guest tutor at many of the top drama schools in London.

Adam never forgets his roots and recently returned to GYC to deliver a ‘Dirty Dancing’ workshop for our current students.
