Students from East Coast College’s Great Yarmouth campus got the opportunity to meet local Television and Radio icon Helen McDermott who came in to meet the students involved in the ‘Fashion Extravaganza’ soon to take place at the Great Yarmouth Racecourse in aid of East Coast Hospice.

Helen enjoyed a walk around the college studios and students got the chance to show off their work.

Helen spoke to students from Art and Design, Performing Arts and Media. The students enjoyed this valuable opportunity to showcase their talents to Helen. Some of the Art and Design students are using a range of recycled materials to create recycled garments that will be showcased on a catwalk show to raise money for East Coast Hospice.

Performing Arts students were busy rehearsing their musical performance for the fundraising event so Helen got a sneak preview!
