Celebration of Achievement 2017

27/06/2017

The achievements of twenty local students were in the spotlight at East Coast College’s annual Celebration of Achievement event, which took place last week.

Twenty students from across both campuses were chosen from all of the entries after being nominated by their tutors and other staff members for their hard work, dedication and commitment to learning. The students were to a special ceremony at the Zest Rooms at Potters Leisure Resort in Hopton, where they were able to reflect on and celebrate their achievements with fellow student achievers, college staff, family, friends and local businesses and employers who kindly sponsored the award categories.

And at the end of the night the overall winner, as picked by Coastal Editor Anne Edwards, was revealed as Ana Pinho. As a student on the Advanced Communications Course Ana has consistently surpassed her tutor’s expectations by producing work of degree level standard and now plans to study for either an English degree or a nursing qualification.
