We are offering free course places to help adults in the local community retrain and get back into work following the coronavirus pandemic. The college has an employability team that can provide one to one support and help you with your next steps. This support could be CV writing, getting ready for an interview or application help. They will also be able to provide advice and guidance on your next steps. Please contact the team on jobsupport@eastcoast.ac.uk.
Our Retrain, Reskill and Restart Fund is aimed at adults who may have lost their jobs during lockdown or those who have used the time at home to think about a change of direction in their work lives. It will offer those successful in gaining a place the chance to retrain for free at both the college’s Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth campuses. Many courses will also be available for adults to access online while on furlough.
The free places are available to those living in the Great Yarmouth and Waveney areas. Applications are now being taken and anyone interested in finding out more should complete the enquiry form at the bottom of this page and a member of the team will get back to you with further details on the course you have chosen.
