Develop the skills and knowledge needed for a career in modern engineering through our Fluid Power pathway. Learn how pressurised fluids are used to transmit, control and convert energy into mechanical motion and force, while building expertise across mechanical and electrical engineering.
You will gain practical experience in industry-standard facilities, including our £11.3m Energy Skills Centre and HAAS CNC machines, alongside classroom learning in engineering principles and mathematics.
With strong links to local employers, you will have opportunities for work experience, industry projects, internships and pre-apprenticeship trials. You may also take part in enrichment activities such as the Duke of Edinburgh's Award and visits to major engineering sites including Bacton Gas Terminal and Sizewell nuclear power station.
